Nat McCleary grew up story-telling – mostly to get out of trouble – but it indicated a love of creating realities and living in her imagination. Now, she is delighted to find, she can actually be paid to do that. With a desire to tell stories that interrogate the beautiful, messy human struggle, wrestle out her own understanding of herself and approach others with a sense of awe, she hopes to foster empathy rather than disdain, curiosity rather than condemnation, and discussion rather than exchanged manifesto.
