Michaella is a theatrical lighting designer based in Glasgow. She trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland which she graduated from in 2010. Since then she has worked and collaborated with many artists and companies mostly based in Scotland. She was recently nominated for a 2024 CAT’s award for best design for her work as Lighting Designer on the show Ginger by Tortoise in a Nutshell. She is particularly interested in contemporary performance and use of bold lighting.
