Martin is delighted to be back at the Tron where he previously appeared in: Risk, Club Asylum, Antigone and Cooking with Elvis. Other theatre credits include: Venice Preserved, Snow White, Scarfed For Life, Whatever Happened To The Jaggy Nettles and Annville (Citizens Theatre); Continuous Growth, Preen Back Yer Lugs, The Year Of The Hare (People’s Theatre of Finland); Nasty Brutish And Short (Traverse Theatre); Thieves And Boy (Óran Mòr); The Three Estates (Edinburgh University); Stitchers (Jermyn Street Theatre); The Hard Man (Finborough Theatre) and The Invisible Hand (Kirkcaldy For All). In 2018 Martin and Martin Travers co-wrote and produced McLuckie’s Line, a one man show which toured Scotland.
TV credits include: Still Game, Dear Green Place, Rab C. Nesbitt, River City, One Night In Emergency, Gary Tank Commander, Young James, Case Histories, Father Brown, Outlander and The Demon Headmaster. Feature film credits include: Cloud Atlas, Filth and Country Music. A documentary featuring Martin called Marty Goes To Hollywood won a New Talent BAFTA in 2015.
