Jo Mango is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She has performed with many international artists including David Byrne and Vashti Bunyan at venues including the Carnegie Hall (NY), the Electric Proms at the Roundhouse (London), and SXSW (Texas). Her songwriting credits include notable work with Scottish bands such as Teenage Fanclub and Admiral Fallow. Most recently she has delved into gig theatre, co-devising and performing in 'A Giant on the Bridge', which is touring this year and showcasing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She is also a songwriting researcher with a PhD in musicology, and works on running the MA Music: Songwriting programme at the University of the West of Scotland.
