Guy is a playwright and filmmaker based in Glasgow. His play Puddles & Amazons was performed as part of the Tron Theatre's Outside Eyes Showcase (2023), and an extract of his play Painting of a Man by Laurie, age 26 was performed with Stage2Page and shortlisted for the Alpine Fellowship Prize (2023). Previously, he was longlisted for A Play, A Pie, A Pint’s David MacLennan Award (2022) and shortlisted for Traverse Theatre’s Breakthrough Writers in Residence (2022). He worked for Enfant Terrible Productions as a screenwriter (2021-22) and was artist in residence at The Island, Bristol (2020). He has also just completed post-production on his debut short, Mouth (2023). He is drawn to the funny, the strange and the sincere.
