Chinyanta is a dance choreographer, performer, teacher and content creator whose work centres around dance of the African diaspora. She creates both live and digital performances that draw from modern and traditional styles.

She has created dance work and performed for many organisations including The Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Tramway (Glasgow), The Edinburgh Carnival, The Black-E (Liverpool) and The Artscape Theatre (Cape Town).

Her notable awards include being selected for the TED Idea Search, Jerwood Arts New Work Fund, National Theatre of Scotland's 'Discover Residency' and The Project X Sparks Bursary.
