Transform East Ayrshire: Flit

Summer 2008 sees the demolition of the 1960s built Grange Academy school building as Grange Academy prepares to merge with Annanhill and Park Primary Schools to form a brand new school: Grange Campus.

Flit marks this momentous change in the lives of pupils and teachers, both present and past, by performing a ritual burial of the old building, laying to rest the memories and ghosts within its walls and celebrating the birth of the new school.

Flit is directed by Alison Peebles, one of Scotland’s leading theatre directors, film-makers and actors.

A free National Theatre of Scotland Learn Event involving drama, music, design, creative writing and digital art.
