Hacks for the Future
Eden Court, Inverness
October 2018
Overview
The Futureproof Festival sees 10 daring national and international companies working with local young people to create 10 exciting new productions in 10 locations across Scotland from 28 September to 28 October 2018. In Inverness, theatre-maker, comedian, and disability-rights activist Jess Thom and her Touretteshero company will bring their project Hacks for the Future to Eden Court.
A special collaborative work, created with a selected group of disabled young people from across Scotland, Hacks for the Future will be a one-day inclusive extravaganza of installations, performances, discussions and workshops for disabled and non-disabled young people looking at history and how we can creatively shape the future. Audience members are welcome to drop in and out of the space over the duration of the event.
