Earlier this year, National Theatre of Scotland issued a call out for artists, to support Push the Boat Out festival and the germination of three new poetry-led performance pieces, responding to the prompt SEED.

We are delighted to announce these artists and their work.

Imogen Stirling and Susan Bear are creating a drum & bass/spoken word piece inspired by the myth of Persephone;

Ross McCleary, an AI-era reinvention of the Biblical tale of Legion

and poet Alycia Pirmohamed and choreographer Gwynne Bilski are joining forces on an ecopoetic collaboration.

The three new pieces will be shown at Push the Boat Out on November 26th 2023
