Creative Insights 2025: A Day for Drama Teachers is now open for booking. Another opportunity for Secondary School Drama Teachers from across Scotland to come together on Fri 5 Sep 2025 for a day of practical professional development, developing skills that can be taken straight back into the classroom, but don’t just take our word for it:

Our artist line up for this year's event is:

Directing: Jemima Levick current Artistic Director of The Tron Theatre in Glasgow and previously Artistic Director of Play, a Pie and Pint, Stella Quines and Dundee Rep

Movement: Natasha Gilmore, founder and Artistic Director of Barrowland Ballet, one of Scotland’s leading contemporary dance companies. An internationally respected choreographer for dance, theatre and film.

Set and Design: Claire Halleran, a graduate of Glasgow School of Art and freelance set designer since 2002, Claire has worked with a number of theatre organisations to create inspirational and thought-provoking sets in and out with theatre spaces. In 2013 Claire and Lisa Sangster, set up The Envelope Room, an organisation in Scotland supporting and promoting professional theatre design.

Each session will see artists sharing their professional skills and knowledge in a hands on, practical and informative way, tailored towards the needs of Secondary School Drama Teachers, helping you take what you learn on the day, straight back into the classroom to share with the pupils you teach.

A vegetarian lunch will be included, and the day will end with informal networking drinks.

Cost: £72 (£60 +VAT)

Running time: 9.45am (registration 9-9.40am) 3.30pm followed by networking drinks until 5pm.
