During these interviews the terminology "People of Colour" is used to reference the racially marginalised slaves referenced during this production. We do acknowledge that the term people of colour holds limitations when addressing the nuances of race. Since language, terms, and expressions inevitably evolve the National Theatre of Scotland is committed to reviewing this statement of language in collaboration with our respective communities.
